Dive into my story
Meet Wayne
Hi, I’m Wayne.
I’m a husband, father, and photographer based in Northwest Arkansas.
I believe great photography starts with getting to know the people in front of my camera. My job isn’t just to make a beautiful photograph—it’s to create an environment where you can relax, be yourself, and let me capture something genuine.
Sometimes that’s a family together at this particular moment in their lives. Sometimes it’s a senior getting ready for what comes next, an athlete competing at their best, or a story unfolding in the community I call home.
After years behind a camera, I’m just as comfortable working with lights in a studio as I am photographing a family on location or standing on a football sideline waiting for the right moment.
Whatever I’m photographing, my goal is the same: to create images that are true to the people in them and that become more meaningful as the years go by.
Always learning. Always improving.
Photography is both an art and a profession, and I’ve always believed that taking it seriously means never being finished learning.
I’m an active member of Professional Photographers of America and the Arkansas Professional Photographers Association, where I serve on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. Continuing education has been an important part of my career, including the Texas School of Professional Photography, Imaging USA, professional workshops, and ongoing study across portraiture, lighting, posing, sports, commercial photography, and other areas of the craft.
I also participate in professional photographic competitions. The awards are certainly nice, but the real value is putting my work in front of accomplished photographers, having it evaluated against professional standards, and using that feedback to keep getting better.
A little more about me
Northwest Arkansas is home, and I enjoy being part of the communities I photograph. You’ll often find me at local games, school events, community activities, and anywhere else there’s a story worth preserving.
When I’m not photographing for a client, there’s a pretty good chance I still have a camera nearby. Photography has been a lifelong pursuit for me, but the part I enjoy most hasn’t changed: meeting people, hearing their stories, and creating something they’ll be glad they have years from now.
